How do we find peace in the midst of the storm?“Peace does not come in a bottle. Peace cannot be bought or sold. Peace is not found in what this world has to offer, cause peace is found in God alone.” (Freedom, The Awakening)

Definition: Freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility.

Our world is full of uncertainty. Wars, and rumours of wars, economic hardship, pestilence,  fear, all come together to make us anxious and steal our peace. So what happens when our peace disappears? We turn to our placebo of choice: Drugs, alcohol, sex, food, entertainment etc. Unfortunately, these are only short term fixes, that usually leave us worse off than how we started.

So, how do we find peace in the midst of the storm?  Jesus....Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

True peace...the one that passes all understanding (Phil. 4:7) is only found in a relationship with Jesus.

Helping people find peace, is simply obeying the prompting of the Lord, to be a vessel that

He can flow His peace through in any given situation. Whether a kind word, a helping hand, or just being there for someone can make all the difference.

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.

Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” Jn. 14:27
